Could have happened what West Ham achieved in 1986 if… ?

… if Robert Green’s blunder in the World Cup game against the U.S. had not happened?
Well, the West Ham keeper wouldn’t be that unsettled and nervous in goal, he wouldn’t have shipped three goals in every game of this season so far! And I’m sure Chelsea wouldn’t have scored their second goal on Saturday.

But what’s the matter with the strikers at Upton Park? Four games – no goal! (Only a missed penalty by Carlton Cole.) If they had scored as many goals as their predecessors did in 1986 West Ham would have won the Chelsea game anyway!

And now …  can it get worse? I’m sure Rob Green won’t do anything like that (cf. below) on Saturday against Stoke (away)! No matter if Avram Grant and Ben Haim will be there at the “Britannia” or celebrate Yom Kippur instead, I’m sure West Ham will win their first point(s) of the season! C’mon you Irons!!!

À propos “englische Tormänner”! -> Hier ein gescheiter Artikel aus dem Blog “Premier Leaks” (Standard) zum Thema!
