Clinical West Ham destroy Forest 4-1

Nottingham Forest 1 – West Ham 4 (Championship, August 28, 2011)

West Ham, playing without Scott Parker who seems to be on the verge of joining Spurs, had a purple patch midway through the first half sparked after Luke Chambers scored a comical own goal. Forest soon fell 2-behind when Kevin Nolan scored from a corner, and minutes later Carlton Cole headed in a third from yet another set-play. Robbie Findley gave Forest fans something to cheer in the 70th, but their joy was short-lived as Winston Reid restored the Hammers 3-goal cushion.
